Transportation Details for Next School Year

2026/2027 School Year

Starting on June 1st, 2026, families will be able to view their child(ren)'s transportation assignments for September 2026 through the RCJTC Parent Portal. Ensure that you have selected the 2026/2027 school year at the bottom of the screen to see the new transportation assignment details.

Please note that stop times may change over the summer months and families are encouraged to confirm these details in late August before the first day of school. If you have any concerns regarding a bus stop location, please reach out to the RCJTC Team as soon as possible so that we may review the location's suitability accordingly.

Updating Contact Information With Your Child's School

All student profile information, including addresses and contact details, is maintained by your child's school.  As such, families must contact their child's school directly with requests for new registrations, school change, address change, sitter change, email address updates, etc. Each school day, updated student profile information is securely sent to the RCJTC in order to assign busing to eligible pupils.

In addition, RCJTC Parent Portal accounts are connected to the email addresses that their family has shared with the school so keeping these up-to-date will ensure that your access to the Parent Portal is successful.

Delays and Cancellations

The Renfrew County Joint Transportation Consortium (RCJTC) works closely with its contracted school transportation operators to identify any route-specific delays or cancellations throughout each school day. This webpage provides information on specific routes which are impacted by short-term cancellations and multi-day cancellations. Delays and Cancellations

Short-term route cancellations may occur due to a variety of actors including driver illness, driver shortages, mechanical failures and inclement weather (i.e. "snow days"). For the most up-to-date information, access the RCJTC Parent Portal or download the BusPlanner Delays mobile application through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Transportation Subsidies

Our partner school boards may adopt transportation subsidies from time to time to support families who may be impacted by long-term route cancellations due to driver shortages. Questions should be directed to your child's school board as the subsidy protocols may be different for each school board.

Sign up for an RCJTC Parent Portal account where families can view their students' transportation assignments (including Route IDs, bus stop locations and pick-up/drop-off times).
